Meet the Doctors

Dr. Alex McMinn is an active member of his community with his wife Kathleen and his three children, Sean, Jillian and Daniel. Dr. McMinn is very active with youth sports. He enjoys coaching Soccer and Lacrosse in Loudon County, Virginia. There he teaches children about wellness, and how to work with others, while having fun.

Dr. McMinn received his Doctorate Degree of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, GA. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. He is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Virginia Board of Medicine. He has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 1985.

Dr. Karen S. Benton cares for her patients using a 'whole person' approach to wellness. This means her focus is on improving the overall health of each individual patient through treating the underlying cause of illness and pain and not just treating symptoms alone. Through gentle chiropractic care, combined with an extensive background in nutrition and body conditioning, Dr. Karen is able to make lifestyle changes to optimize normal function to assist you on your journey to health.
Dr. Karen Benton
Dr. Karen received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1998. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences. Post-doctoral study's include ART (Active Release Technique), Whiplash/auto injuries, and Pediatric care. She is certified in Webster technique, successfully turning many babies while in the womb. She enjoys working with families, and has done extensive research on diet and nutrition and its importance to healthy development and function both in children and in adults. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as running, yoga and body conditioning.

Theresa Roth, RDN, CPT has been practicing as a registered dietitian for over 18 years helping people to achieve their health goals and prevent disease through diet and exercise. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist as well as a certified personal trainer. She has extensive experience in the specialized fields of weight management for children, adolescents and adults, diabetes/ pre-diabetes management, cardiac nutrition and sports nutrition. She is a believer in the concept of whole body health and will tailor a program that is both realistic and effective for you.
Theresa Roth, RDN, CPT
Theresa is an active member in the Nutrition and Dietetics community and sits on many advisory which advocates good nutrition for children and families throughout Loudoun County. She speaks to many groups on how to lead healthier lives through good nutrition and fitness.
